The “Labs’ Open Day” was held on May 7th at 2.30 pm in the ENEA Research Laboratories in Faenza (Via Ravegnana, 186). The event presented FIREMAT activities, including a Istec-CNR’s speech on Geopolymers activities.
The Open day was part of the Scientific and Technological Culture’s Week (XVIII^ Faenza edition, promoted by the local Council) and it was the first opportunity to introduce the approved FIREMAT project, aiming at demonstrating the possibility of producing, in an economically and ecologically sustainable manner, new composite materials for fire-resistant applications.
